Icici Bank

This is the Icici Bank location over at 12-A Govind Vihar in the Baltana area. If you know the border between Punjab and Haryana near Zirakpur, you know that Baltana is a very busy and crowded place with lots of small shops and narrow lanes. Our office sits right in the middle of that growth in Govind Vihar. It is always busy here because there are so many people living in the apartments and houses around us who need to handle their money. The office isn't very big, so when we have a few customers inside, it starts to feel quite cramped. We spend the day helping people with their bank accounts, handling cash, and explaining the different forms they need to fill out. The road outside can get very dusty and the traffic is often backed up, so there is always a lot of noise coming from the street. We have our desks lined up and we just try to get through the queue of people as quickly as we can. It’s a very practical environment where the focus is just on the daily banking tasks. We don't have a big lobby or fancy decorations, just the counters and the computers we need to do the job. Everyone who works here knows the local shopkeepers and the people who live nearby, so it feels very much like a part of the neighborhood.
