Hypercity Retail (India) Ltd

Hypercity Retail (India) Ltd is over in Sector 4 of Panchkula. We are at number 118, which is a pretty easy spot to find if you are driving around Haryana. I’ve been on the staff here for a couple of years now. It’s a retail environment, so it’s always a bit chaotic. There’s always a pallet of something being moved or a customer asking where the milk is. We don't have a fancy corporate office with glass walls. My desk is tucked in the back near the loading dock. It’s noisy and smells like cardboard most of the time. We don't really bother with big speeches about what we do. We just show up, open the doors, and start working. Sometimes the scanners don't work or the air conditioning acts up, and we just have to deal with it. It’s not a polished place, but it’s real. We have a lot of local people working here. We talk about our families and what we’re having for lunch while we stock the shelves. It’s just a regular job for regular people. We don't try to be anything we’re not. The floors get scuffed and the lights flicker sometimes, but the work gets finished every day. It’s a busy life in Sector 4, and we just keep moving along with the rest of the city. We don't have any big slogans, we just sell things people need for their homes.
