Hotel Sunrise

You can see our place in Sector 17, right across from the main bus stand in Chandigarh. It’s a very central spot, so we get all kinds of people coming through. Since the GPO is nearby, we also see people who have official work in the area. The building is one of those standard ones you see all over this part of the city. We don’t try to be something we aren't. It’s just a hotel where you can get a room without spending too much. The rooms have the basics like a bed, a fan or AC, and a bathroom. Some of the paint is peeling a little in the corners, but we try to fix things when we can. It’s always busy outside with the buses and the people walking to the market. If you’re looking for a quiet resort, this isn't it. But if you need to be near the transport hub, we’re right here. We’ve had the same staff for a few years now, so they know how to handle the rush. You can find plenty of food stalls nearby if you want a quick paratha or some tea. We just keep running the place day by day, making sure the linens are changed and the water is running. It’s a basic setup for travelers who just need a spot to crash before their next bus leaves. We try to keep the check-in process quick so you can just get to your room.
