Hotel Bombay Palace

You can find us at the Dhilon Complex on the Malerkotla Satara Road. We are near the Sun Republic area, which is a fairly busy part of the 160001 district. The hotel is part of a larger building structure, so we share some of the space with other shops and offices. It makes for an interesting mix of people coming and going. We have been running this place for a few years and it’s always a bit of a scramble to keep everything in order. The plumbing is a bit old so we are always calling the repairman to fix a leak or a clogged drain. Our rooms are okay, they have windows that look out onto the road or the back alley. It’s not much of a view, mostly just other buildings and the tops of cars. We have a small desk where we handle the check-ins and the paperwork. Most of our guests are people traveling for business in the local area. They aren't looking for luxury, just a clean bed and a door that locks securely. We use simple cotton sheets and the towels are a bit mismatched sometimes. We try to help out if someone needs directions or a glass of water. It’s just a regular local hotel run by a small crew of us. We are just trying to make a living like everyone else in the complex. It gets a bit dusty but we keep the fans running to stay cool during the day.
