Hotel Astoria

Hotel Astoria is located at SCO - 28 in Mohali, which is a busy area for anyone who knows the city well. We spend a lot of our time managing the front desk and making sure the rooms are ready for whoever might be coming in that day. It is a lot of work keeping up with the laundry and the cleaning. This is especially true when several guests check out at the exact same time. Being in an SCO means there is always something going on outside our doors. People are running errands or going to other businesses nearby. We don't have a big corporate team. It is mostly just us trying to keep the place running and answering the phone when it rings. Some days are quieter than others. Usually we have something to fix or a room that needs a bit of extra attention. The building has its quirks like any other place in Mohali. We have learned how to deal with them over the years. We arent trying to be the most luxurious spot in the world. It is just a place where people can stay and go about their business. Most of our regulars are people who come to Mohali for work and just need a place to sleep. We know the local shopkeepers around SCO - 28. Sometimes we grab a quick tea with them when things are slow. It’s just a normal life here.
