Hair Safers Cuts

Started the shop on Lohgarh Road right across from the government school. It gets pretty loud here when the kids get out for the day, but we are used to it by now. Being in Zirakpur means we see a lot of people passing through, and some folks even come over from Chandigarh when they need a quick trim. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a few chairs and mirrors that have seen better days, but they do the job. We open up early most mornings because that is when the rush starts. Sometimes the tea stall next door brings over a cup while we are working. It’s a simple life here in the 140603 zip code. We don’t have a big sign or anything, just the name Hair Safers Cuts on the front. People mostly find us by looking for the school. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, so someone is always sweeping. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long in the heat. It gets really hot in the afternoons, but the fan keeps things bearable. If you are around Lohgarh or coming in from Chandigarh, you might have seen us. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s been a few years now and the neighbors are all friendly. There isn't much more to say really. We are just here every day in this corner of the road.
