Hair Rai Serz

Our shop, Hair Rai Serz, is sitting on Nada Road in Naya Goan. We are quite close to the Gurudwara Sahib, so if you are coming from that direction toward Nada Road, you’ll see us easily enough. Chandigarh is just a short trip away from Naya Goan. The road outside can get a bit dusty when the weather is dry, but that is just how it is around the Gurudwara Sahib. We have a simple sign for Hair Rai Serz out front. The building on Nada Road isn't anything special to look at, just a regular place where we do our work. Inside, we have the mirrors lined up and the chairs ready for people in Naya Goan. We spend a lot of time cleaning up the floor between visitors at Nada Road. It’s mostly people from Naya Goan who stop by. Sometimes you can hear the sounds from the Gurudwara Sahib, which is nice when the windows are open on Nada Road. We keep things pretty relaxed here at Hair Rai Serz. There isn't a lot of shouting or loud music. Just the sound of the clippers and maybe the radio playing low. We have some old magazines on the table for people waiting near the Gurudwara Sahib. The light stays fairly dim in the back of the shop on Nada Road. It’s a small operation in Naya Goan, just a few of us working here every day. I think we know most of the people who walk past our door on Nada Road. It’s just a normal day near the Gurudwara Sahib.
