Hair And Scissors is situated on VIP Road in Zirakpur. Our shop is at Sco 23. This part of town is always on the move. There is a lot of traffic and new apartments are going up every month. We decided to open here to be right in the middle of all that activity. We see people from all over, and many drive in from Chandigarh. It is a unisex salon, so we get a mix of everyone. The shop itself is not very old. We fixed it up ourselves without spending a fortune. It is just a place for people to get their hair done. We have a few staff members who really know their craft. We do not use any corporate scripts or fancy talk. We just ask what you want and start working. Sometimes we have the radio on, other times it is just the sound of people talking. The VIP Road area is great because there is always something happening outside the window. We get plenty of walk-ins from the buildings nearby. Running a shop here has been a learning experience for us. The rent is not cheap, but we make it work. We try to be fair and honest with everyone who walks in. If you are driving down VIP Road, our sign is pretty easy to spot. It is a busy life, but we enjoy it. We focus on the basics and making sure you look better when you leave.
