Gurukal Institute

You can find Gurukal Institute on the first floor of SCO-355 in Sector 32 D. We are right near Highway Sweets, which is a bit of a blessing and a curse because the smell of samosas is always drifting up our way. It’s a busy spot in Chandigarh. People are always coming and going from the shops downstairs. We’ve been in this building for a while, and the stairs are starting to show a bit of wear, but the space inside is decent. It’s a standard SCO setup. We have a few rooms divided up for different groups. It gets quite busy in the evenings when the school day ends and everyone heads over for extra help. We try to keep things organized, but with so many papers and books around, it can look a bit cluttered at times. That’s just how a place of learning looks, I think. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us running the show, answering the phones, and talking to parents who drop by. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but Highway Sweets is still there and so are we. The windows look out over the main road, so there’s always something to see during breaks. It’s a practical space for what we do, and being centrally located in 32 D makes it accessible for most people in the area. We stay until the last student leaves in the evening.
