About Raj Institute Of Competitions – Education in Chandigarh
We run Raj Institute of Competitions from the second and third floors of SCF 13 in Phase 7, Mohali. It’s right across the street from Chawla Nursing Home, so it’s a familiar landmark for anyone in the area. We’ve got two floors here, which gives us enough room to have different groups of students at the same time. Being in Phase 7 is great because it’s a central spot, and we get people from both Mohali and Chandigarh coming through. The building is one of those older SCF structures, so it has that local feel to it. It’s not a polished corporate office with carpets and glass. It’s a place with hard floors and plenty of chairs where students spend hours studying for their competitive exams. We have been doing this for quite some time now. You’ll usually see us with piles of practice papers and old books on the desks. It gets pretty lively in the afternoons when the schools let out and everyone arrives for their sessions. We don't really go for big advertisements. Usually, someone’s cousin or friend told them to come here. We just try to be practical and help everyone get through their syllabus. The stairs up to the third floor can be a bit of a workout, but that’s just part of the daily routine here. It’s an unpretentious place focused on study. We try to keep the fans running high during the humid months to stay comfortable.
