Gopal Enterprises

Gopal Enterprises is located at Sector 22 on K K Road, specifically at 1028/29/1. It is a fairly large shop compared to the others on this block. We have been here for many years now and have gathered a lot of different stock over that time. We mainly deal in general household supplies and some basic electronic goods. There is a large ceiling fan that stays on all day, though it makes a steady clicking sound. We have a small room in the back where we keep extra boxes and where we sit down to eat our lunch. The front counter is quite long, and that is where we spend most of our time talking with the customers. Since K K Road is a main thoroughfare, quite a bit of dust blows in, so we have to sweep the floor several times a day. Most of our customers are people who live in the nearby apartment buildings. We keep a small notebook behind the counter to write down items that people ask for. Sometimes we are so busy that we forget to take our mid-day break. It isn't a fancy corporate place, just a family-run business that has been part of the neighborhood for a long time. We have seen many other shops come and go on this street. We also keep a small bowl of water outside for the stray dogs. It is just a regular, everyday life for us here.
