Good Looks Unisex Salon

We’ve been here at Phase 5 in Mohali for a good bit now. Most people know the spot because it’s right across from Cheema Hospital. If you walk up to the first floor of SCF 62, that’s where you’ll find us. It’s not a huge place, just a regular salon where we do hair and stuff for both men and women. The chairs are usually full on weekends, and the mirrors have seen a lot of faces over the years. We started this because we liked the neighborhood and wanted to work for ourselves. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but inside it’s just the sound of scissors and hair dryers going. We keep the floor swept as much as we can, though hair gets everywhere when it’s busy. Some of our regulars have been coming since we first opened the doors. They sit down, we talk about the weather or whatever is on the news, and they get their trim. It’s a straightforward setup. We don't have fancy lights or anything, just the usual equipment you'd expect in a local shop. Sometimes the tea guy from downstairs brings up a few cups if we’re stuck working through lunch. It's just a regular day-to-day business where we try to get the job done so people can go about their day looking a bit tidier than when they walked in.
