Future Agri & Foods Private Limited

Our office is on the first floor of SCF 112 in Phase 11, Mohali. It’s right here in the heart of things in Punjab. Future Agri & Foods Private Limited is basically us trying to figure out the best ways to get food from the farms to the shops. It’s not an easy job because things spoil fast if you aren't careful. We spend a lot of time talking to farmers and then talking to the people who buy the bulk goods. The stairs up to our office are a bit steep, and the door sticks sometimes when it’s humid. Inside, it’s just a normal workspace. We have a few computers and a lot of files. We aren't doing anything flashy. Mostly we just make sure the trucks are on time and the quality is what it should be. The traffic in Phase 11 can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually stay late to avoid the rush. We drink a lot of chai and discuss the market rates. It’s a small team, so everyone does a bit of everything. One day I’m checking invoices, the next I’m talking to a guy about cold storage. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep things moving. It’s practical work and it keeps us on our toes. We have been in this office for a few years now.
