Friends Communications

We are located right near the Chandigarh G.P.O. area. Friends Communications started out quite small, just a few of us helping people with their phone issues and recharges. Nowadays, everyone has a mobile in their hand, so it stays pretty busy. It’s a small shop, often filled with people waiting to get a screen fixed or asking about a new SIM card. There’s always a bit of a hum from the computers and the chargers plugged into the walls. We keep some basic accessories like cables and covers in the glass cases up front. It’s not a fancy showroom. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and there are wires everywhere behind the counter. I usually have a few different phones taken apart on my desk at any given time. People come in frustrated because their battery died or they dropped their device, and we just try to get it sorted out for them. It’s a lot of sitting and looking at small parts. We’ve been at this G.P.O. location for a while now, so most of the office workers around here know where to find us. Sometimes we just sit and chat with customers while their data transfers. It’s a practical business. We don't have any big corporate goals, just keeping people connected so they can get back to their day. It’s just us, doing what we know how to do. The fan makes a bit of noise, but we don't mind.
