Dhiman Radios is located over at Sector 18 on the Odhav Singarva Road, specifically at 43/4. If you come by, you will see a lot of old equipment piled up in the corners. We have been working out of this space for a long time. The street outside is usually noisy with trucks and bikes, but inside it is mostly the sound of static or a dial turning. We spend a lot of time looking through magnifying glasses at tiny parts. Radios aren't as common as they used to be, but people still bring them in, especially the older ones that their parents owned. The shelves are a bit dusty because there are so many small pieces to keep track of. Sometimes we lose a screw on the floor and have to spend ten minutes looking for it with a flashlight. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it. We keep our tools laid out on a wooden bench that has seen better days. Every morning we open the shutters and start the day by cleaning off the front glass. It is just a regular shop where we do what we know how to do. Most of our neighbors know us by name and stop in just to say hello even if they don’t need anything fixed. Sometimes we have to tell people that a repair will take extra days because we are waiting on a specific part. It's a living.
