Computer Assembling

Our shop is right at the start, Shop No 1 on Khanda Road in Sector 14. Being in the Waghodia Gidc area means we mostly deal with people from the factories and nearby workshops. Computer Assembling is exactly what it sounds like. We spend our days putting together towers and configuring systems for local businesses. The floor is usually covered in cardboard boxes and those little plastic bags that screws come in. It’s a functional space, nothing more. We have a couple of long wooden tables where we do all the building. It’s often quite dusty because of all the trucks passing by outside on the main road. We don't have a fancy sign or polished floors. Most people just walk in because they saw the name while driving past. We don't do much talking; we mostly just listen to the hum of power supplies and the sound of screwdrivers. It’s a steady kind of work. We aren't a big corporation with departments and managers. It’s just us making sure the machines turn on and stay on. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for a specific motherboard to arrive, and we just tell people how it is. No point in making excuses. The tea from the guy next door is pretty good, so that helps pass the time when a build is going slow. Just a simple shop in an industrial zone doing what we can.
