Chandani Chowk

We’ve been here at Sco-1001 in Sector 22 Nalasopara for a good stretch of time now. It’s funny how the days just blend together when you’re busy at the shop. The mornings usually start around nine or so, depending on the traffic and how early I can get out of the house. Chandani Chowk isn't a huge operation, just us doing what we do every day. Most people around here know where we are, right near the main path. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside on the stools talking to the neighbors until it comes back on. It’s not fancy, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time sorting through things and making sure everything is where it should be. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't found the time to get around to it yet. My nephew helps out on the weekends when he's not busy with his school stuff. We get all sorts of people walking in, some just looking for directions and others who stay to chat for half an hour. It gets pretty loud in the evenings when the market picks up. We’ve seen other shops come and go, but we’re still here at the same spot. It’s just a regular life, honestly. We open up, we handle the stock, we talk to people, and then we lock up and head home to do it all again the next day.
