Bakhshi Telecom

Bakhshi Telecom is situated right near the Chandigarh G.P.O 1. It’s a convenient spot since a lot of people are already in the area for their mail or other errands. Our shop is quite narrow, with just enough room for the counter and a few people to stand at one time. We focus mostly on mobile services, like selling sim cards and helping people set up their data plans. There's always a stack of paperwork on the desk because of all the registrations we have to process. We also have a small section for phone repairs, mostly for simple stuff like broken buttons or software glitches. The shop gets pretty warm in the summer, so we have a noisy fan that stays on all day. It’s been a family-run thing for a while. We don't do any big advertising; word of mouth from the people around the G.P.O is how most folks find us. Sometimes we run out of a certain brand of sim card and have to wait for the delivery guy, but that's just how it goes in this business. We try to be helpful and explain things simply, especially for the older customers who find smartphones a bit confusing. It’s a busy little corner of Chandigarh, and we’re happy to be a part of it. Nothing fancy, just a regular telecom shop doing its thing every day from morning until night.
