Audio Video Library

Our place is over at Sector 47 on R V Road, near Minvera Circle. The address is number 36. It’s called Audio Video Library, and it’s been here since before everyone started streaming everything online. We still have a lot of discs and tapes on the shelves. It’s a bit of a nostalgic place for some people. We have rows and rows of cases. Some are a bit dusty now, but we try to keep them in order by genre or alphabet. It’s a quiet shop. Most of the time it’s just the sound of the ceiling fan and the traffic from Minvera Circle outside. We get a few people who still like having a physical copy of a movie or some music. They come in and browse for a while. We know where most things are located, even the obscure stuff. The shop is long and narrow. We have a small counter at the front where we check things out. It’s a simple system. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still here at the same spot. It’s not a big money maker anymore, but it’s what we know. We enjoy talking to the customers who still appreciate a good film. Sector 47 is a nice area to be in. We just keep the doors open and see who comes in to look through the collection. It’s a quiet life, surrounded by stories and songs.
