You can find Amaan Unisex Hair Saloon right in the middle of the Main Market in Baltana, specifically at Shop No 3 in Sector 66. Being near Hdfc Bank makes it easy for people to spot us when they're out doing their banking or shopping. It’s a lively spot, especially on the weekends when everyone in Chandigarh seems to be out and about. We’ve got a few chairs and some good mirrors, and that’s about all we need to get the job done. It gets pretty loud with the traffic outside and the music we keep playing, but that’s just the atmosphere of the market. We see all kinds of people coming in, from kids getting their first haircut to the older folks who have been living in Sector 66 forever. We aren't trying to be one of those high-end luxury places where you pay for the name. We just give people a decent haircut and a bit of a chat. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded and people have to wait on the bench outside, but nobody seems to mind too much. It’s a good place to hear the local gossip or find out what’s happening in the neighborhood. We keep the scissors sharp and the floor swept as much as we can. It’s just a simple shop where we work hard and hope people leave feeling a bit better than when they walked in. We've been at this spot for a while now and we like it here.
