Ali Hair Saloon

Ali Hair Saloon is located in the Old Market area of Sohana, right near the post office. It’s a convenient spot for people living around Mohali 140308. I’ve been cutting hair here for a while, and I even have some customers who drive over from Chandigarh because they like the way I do things. The shop is in a bit of an older building, so it has that traditional feel. It’s not very big, but I’ve managed to fit in everything I need. I spend most of my day standing by the chair, chatting with whoever is sitting in it. We talk about the village, the changes in Mohali, or just life in general. I use simple tools, mostly scissors and the electric trimmer for the neck. The mirrors are a bit old, but they work fine. Being near the post office means there’s always people walking past. Sometimes the shop gets crowded, and people have to wait outside on the steps. I don't mind. It feels good to be part of the Old Market community. I try to keep things organized, but with hair everywhere, it’s a bit tough. I don't have a big staff, just myself and maybe a cousin helping out on weekends. If you need a shave or a haircut, just look for us near the post office. It’s a straightforward place with no hidden extras. I just want people to leave feeling a bit neater than when they walked in. That is the goal for me.
