Aafrin Hair Saloon

Aafrin Hair Saloon is located at Shop No-96 in Golden Estate, Baltana. This part of Zirakpur is quite crowded, and there are many shops lined up together. We are in the 140603 area and even though we are in Baltana, we end up serving a lot of people who travel in from Chandigarh too. The shop is a basic one. We have the usual chairs and the tools of the trade. It gets quite busy on Sunday mornings when everyone is off work and wants to look decent for the week ahead. We have a small television in the corner that is usually playing some news or songs to keep the waiting customers occupied. The Golden Estate area has a lot of families, so we see many fathers and sons coming in together. It’s a simple atmosphere, nothing fancy or corporate about it. We just have our names on the front and we do our work. The floor is old and the mirrors have a few spots on them, but they work fine for seeing what we are doing. We don't do much advertising, mostly just people seeing the shop while they are out in Baltana. It’s a steady life and we are happy to be part of the local market. We just keep things moving and try to stay on top of the cleaning. That’s about all there is to it, just keeping the chairs full and the scissors moving and the shop open for anyone who needs us in the area.
