A One Saloon

Started the shop years back here in Chandigarh. It is not a big place, just enough room for a few chairs and some mirrors on the wall. We mostly do haircuts and shaves for the guys who live around here. Some days it is really quiet and we just sit around listening to the radio, but then Saturday comes and everyone shows up at once. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast and we have to keep sweeping it out the door. We do not have any fancy machines or anything like that. Just the usual scissors, a couple of electric trimmers that sometimes make too much noise, and the old spray bottles for water. It gets quite hot in the summer, so the ceiling fan stays on all day long, clicking away. Most people who come in have been coming for a long time. They do not even have to say what they want anymore. We just know. Sometimes the tea guy from down the street brings over a few cups while we work. It is a simple life, honestly. Nothing to complain about. We open up early, clean the glass, and wait for the first person to walk through the door. It is just what we do every day. No big story behind it, just a local spot where you can get a quick trim without any fuss or waiting too long on a Tuesday morning.
