This is Adibadri Fed Farmers Producer Company Limited. We are way out in Chamoli, specifically in Vill-Julgar near PO-Adibadri. It’s beautiful out here but also a lot of work to keep a farmer producer company going. Deveshwari Devi is the name associated with our spot. We are right in the Gairsain block. Living and working in the hills means you have to be tough and patient. We work with the local farmers because we are locals ourselves. It isn't a fancy operation. Most days we are just dealing with whatever the season brings. The roads can be tricky around Adibadri when it rains. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. It's just us in a small room making sure the produce gets where it needs to go. We’ve known each other for a long time in these villages. You won't find any corporate jargon here. We talk like normal people because that’s what we are. Every day is different depending on what’s growing and what the weather is doing. We just try to keep things moving for everyone involved. If you come by, you’ll probably see us drinking tea and looking over some ledgers. It’s a quiet life but we stay busy. We don't make big promises, we just do the work that’s in front of us. It is simple work but it keeps the community going. We are happy to be here in the mountains doing our part.
