Sks Fasteners Ltd. is located out on Ambhethan Road, right near the Chakan Telephone Exchange. If you have ever been to Chakan, you know it is a heavy industrial area with plenty of trucks and dust everywhere. We are right in the middle of it. Our main thing is fasteners, so we spend our time surrounded by thousands of nuts, bolts, and washers. It is a lot of counting and checking sizes, to be honest. The warehouse can get quite hot in the summer, so we keep the big fans going all day just to stay comfortable. We are not some giant, polished company with a lobby full of plants. It is more of a boots-on-the-ground kind of place. Most of our visitors are local workshop owners or guys from the nearby factories who need a specific part right away. My desk is usually covered in sticky notes and half-finished coffee cups. We try to stay organized, but with so many different types of fasteners, something always seems to be hiding in the wrong bin. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We do not have a marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on making sure the inventory is right and that the people in Rajguru Nagar get what they need to keep their own machines running. It is practical and straightforward, just like the people who work here.
