We are situated at Plot No. 365/2 in the Western Maharashtra Development Corporation Ltd. area, right in the heart of Kharabwadi. Being in Chakan means we are surrounded by a lot of big factories, but our place feels a bit more personal than those giant warehouses. It’s a long drive out here for some, but the Taluka Khed region has become such a center for engineering that it makes sense for us to be here. The plot is fairly large, and we’ve filled most of it with our gear and materials. It’s usually pretty dusty because of the construction nearby and the trucks moving on the main road, but that’s just part of life in Chakan. We spend our days mostly on the floor, checking measurements and making sure the output is what it should be. The office is just a small corner partitioned off with some plywood where we keep the invoices and the computer. It gets quite loud during the peak hours when everyone is running their machines at once. We’ve got a routine that works for us, starting early before the sun gets too high. There’s a lot of metalwork involved in what we do, so the shop is never really quiet. We aren't the type to put on a show for visitors; we just show them what we are making. It’s a hard-working spot in a busy industrial belt, and we’ve grown to like the pace of it.
