Our workshop is located at Shop No-222 in the Chakan Industrial Area. If you are near Fabrication Chowk, you will see us right opposite the Gadhada Hotel. It is a noisy place because of all the machines and the work going on in Village Chakan. We do a lot of metal work and fabrication here. Most of the time, the floor is covered in scrap metal and we are busy with the welding machines. Taluka Khed is a busy zone for industry, so there is always something to do. We don't have an office staff or fancy chairs. Just a few benches and the heavy tools we use every day. The heat from the welding can be a lot in the afternoons, but that is just part of the job. We have been in this spot for some years now. The tea stall nearby is where we take our breaks. Sometimes people come in with specific drawings and we try to figure out how to make it work for them. It is hard work and our hands are usually dirty by the end of the shift. We are not big talkers, we just focus on getting the pieces joined right. The area is always dusty with trucks moving around, but we are used to it. We keep our tools organized as much as we can. It’s just a regular engineering shop doing its bit in Chakan. The rhythm of the grinders and the smell of hot steel is what we know best.
