Our office is over at 4845 on Ansari Road, specifically down Street 24 in Govid Lane. If you know Darya Ganj, you know how tight those streets can get. We’re Wickman Machine Tools India Pvt Ltd, and we’ve been operating out of this spot for some time. The office is usually a bit of a mess with manuals, part diagrams, and various components sitting on desks. It’s not the easiest place to find if it’s your first time coming down Govid Lane, but once you’re here, you’ll see we’re just a regular group of people working with industrial equipment. We deal with a lot of technical specs and machine parts daily. It gets pretty hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going and just get on with the work. Usually, we’re busy responding to queries or checking on shipments that are stuck somewhere in transit. The neighborhood is full of energy, lots of small businesses tucked away in every corner. We’ve got a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to filing paperwork. It’s a practical environment. We don’t have much in the way of decor, just what we need to get the jobs done. Sometimes the power flickers, but we just wait it out and keep moving. Darya Ganj has its own rhythm, and we’ve definitely become a part of it over the years. We mostly stay to ourselves and keep the work moving through the afternoon.
