Shakun Import & Trading Co.

Our place is Shakun Import & Trading Co. located at No. 25/81 on Street Number 14. We are right on Pandav Road in the Vishwas Nagar part of Shahdara. It’s a very narrow street, and parking is always a nightmare, so we usually tell people to come by rickshaw if they can. The office is small and packed with boxes from floor to ceiling. We do a lot of trading from here and it can get a bit cramped when a new shipment arrives. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day—the vendors shouting their prices and the cycles going past the window. It’s a very local feel. We have been in this spot for quite a while now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are always too busy to get to it. We keep our records in big binders that take up a lot of shelf space. It’s not a high-tech setup, but it works perfectly for what we do. Everyone knows everyone on this street, and we often chat with the shopkeeper next door. We just keep our heads down and handle the imports as they come in. It’s honest work and we like being part of the community here. We don't have any fancy brochures, just our address and our word.
