G. M. Impex Company

G. M. Impex Company is located at No. 1642 in Lal Kuan, Chandni Chowk. If you know this area, you know how busy it gets with the rickshaws and everyone trying to move goods through the narrow streets. Our office is right there in the thick of it. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy, just the name on the door and a lot of work inside. Every morning starts with opening the shutters and checking what needs to go out. The building has been around for a long time, so it has that old feel to it, maybe a bit dusty sometimes, but it’s home for us during the day. We deal with whatever comes our way, whether it's a small local thing or something bigger. Sometimes the electricity goes out or the street gets blocked by a delivery truck, and we just wait it out or find another way to get things done. It’s a simple setup really. No one here wears a suit. We just wear what's comfortable for a long day of work. Working in Lal Kuan means you get to know all the tea sellers and the other shop owners around No. 1642. We’ve been here quite a while now, and though the city moves fast, we just focus on our own tasks. It's a lot of manual work and keeping track of things on paper. It is not always perfect, but we get the job done eventually.
