Virji Bhai Sons

Asaf Ali Road is one of those places that never really stops moving. We are up on the 3rd floor of the Vardhman City-2 Plaza. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is busy, which it usually is. We have rooms 312 and 318, so we’re spread out across the hallway a bit. If you look out the window, you can see right over to the Ramlila Ground. It’s quite a view when there’s a big event happening over there, though the noise definitely carries up here. We mostly deal with a lot of paperwork and people coming in for meetings. The office isn't anything special to look at, just desks, some filing cabinets that probably need replacing, and a lot of pens that always seem to go missing. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The plaza itself is always full of people running around, and the tea man comes by twice a day which is usually the highlight of the afternoon. It gets hot in the summers, even with the windows open, but we just get on with it. There’s a lot of shouting from the street below, but after a few years, you just stop hearing it. We keep our doors open and just handle whatever comes through during the day. It is just a normal office life in the middle of a very crowded part of Delhi.
