Messers Tinku Vishwkarma

Our place is at 650 Aram Bagh, right near Chetcuti Chowk in Lan Bazar. Messers Tinku Vishwkarma is a busy spot where there is always some kind of project being worked on. You can usually hear the sound of tools hitting metal or wood from the street long before you see us. It’s a bit messy with scraps and spare parts lying around the floor, but we know where everything is. People from the neighborhood often stop by to ask for small things or just to say hello while we are busy. We don't have a big showroom or a fancy sign. It’s just a workshop where we get our hands dirty every single day. The chowk is always bustling with activity and people, so there is never a quiet moment around here. We’ve been at this location for a while and the floor is stained from all the oil and work we’ve done over the years. We take short breaks when we can, sitting on wooden stools near the front door to catch a breeze. The air in Lan Bazar is thick with the smell of the market and old buildings. We stay until the job is finished, which often means working by the light of a single bulb late into the evening. It’s honest work and we don’t try to make it sound like anything else. We are just here doing what we know how to do at 650 Aram Bagh.
