Gold Zari House

We are located at Shop No 3/4 in Building No 1/40, right here in Roop Nagar. It’s a cozy little spot where we specialize in zari work. If you walk into the shop, the first thing you’ll notice is the shine of the metallic threads and the colorful fabrics we have piled up on the tables. We spend most of our time sitting and working on intricate designs. It takes a lot of patience and steady hands. The shop is a bit small, and with all the material around, there isn't much room to walk, but we make it work. Roop Nagar is a nice area, and we’ve made a lot of friends among the locals over the years. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for a long time. Some days are busier than others, especially when a wedding season is coming up and everyone wants something special for their clothes. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Usually, someone sees a piece we made for a neighbor and then they come looking for us. It’s a very traditional kind of work, and we like keeping it that way. We use old methods and simple tools. Sometimes our backs ache from leaning over the embroidery frames all day, but seeing the finished product makes it worth it. It’s just a small shop in a busy building, doing what we know best without any big fuss or corporate talk.
