Vinodbist

I've been here at Gulabi Bagh for quite a while now. Most people around here know the 1493 address. It’s just how things are. Vinodbist is basically what I do every day. It started out small, just a few things here and there. Now the days get busy and I mostly just try to keep up with what needs doing. Delhi heat can be tough in the summer months but we stay open. There’s no big team or fancy office with glass walls. It's just a regular spot where work happens. Sometimes the door sticks a bit when it rains. You learn to deal with those little things. Neighbors stop by to chat sometimes. I think being local matters more than people say. You get to know faces. If someone asks for something specific, I try my best to figure it out. It’s not about being the biggest around. It’s just about being reliable enough so people come back next week. The street gets crowded in the evenings. Lots of noise from the bikes passing by. I’ve thought about moving a few times, but this corner feels right. It’s home. We don't have a big sign with lights. Just the name Vinodbist on the front. I keep the floors swept. It’s simple work but it keeps me busy from morning till the sun goes down. If you're near Gulabi Bagh, you’ll find us. There are always boxes to move and papers to sign. It’s not glamorous but it’s real life for me.
