You can find Tools & Spares India down in Paharganj at Daribanpan 3525. If you know anything about Paharganj, you know it is a maze of narrow streets and old buildings. We have been in this little corner for years, surrounded by other shops selling everything from spices to hardware. The building is old, with steep stairs and walls that have seen a lot of history. We mostly deal in spare parts and various tools that are hard to find elsewhere. It’s a small space, so every inch of the walls is covered in shelves filled with boxes and loose bits of metal. It gets very crowded during the peak market hours, and the noise from the street is constant, but we are used to it by now. People come to us when they can’t find a specific spare part in the newer markets. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights; it’s just us and the inventory. Sometimes it takes a few minutes to dig out exactly what a customer wants from the back, but we usually have it somewhere. The Daribanpan area has a unique character, and being part of this local trade community is just how it has always been for us. We drink a lot of chai and talk to the neighbors between customers. It’s a simple life running a shop in one of the oldest parts of the city.
