The Heart Clinic

The Heart Clinic is tucked away at number 13 in the Double Story Market area of New Rajender Nagar. If you know Delhi, you know how these market blocks are. It's a bit of an older neighborhood and the buildings show their age in a nice way. We are on the ground level, so people can just walk right in from the street. The market outside is always full of life, with people buying groceries or stopping for tea nearby. Our clinic is small and a bit crowded with all the stuff we have to keep on hand. We have a few benches for waiting and a desk that's usually piled high with folders. The floor is made of that old stone that stays cool even when the Delhi heat is really hitting hard outside. We’ve been here for a good while, so the walls have some scuffs and the door squeaks a little bit when it opens. It isn't a polished or fancy medical center. It’s just a local spot where we do our work every day. We know a lot of the shopkeepers around the market and we see the same faces passing by our window every morning. It feels like a real part of the community here. We just keep things simple and focus on the people who come through the door looking for help.
