Instead, we are tucked away in a quiet street where everyone knows their neighbors. Our team is small, and we spend most of our time helping new businesses get off the ground. This involves a lot of paperwork and phone calls to different departments. We have a few desks pushed together in the main room and a whiteboard that is usually covered in scribbles and lists. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which gives us a chance to step outside for a bit. The office doesn't have any expensive art or fancy lighting.
