St. Stephen'S Hospital

Located in Tis Hazari, St. Stephen'S Hospital is one of those places that has just always been there. It is a large building that takes up a good bit of space, and it is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. We have different sections for different illnesses, and the staff is always on the move. You will see people in scrubs carrying clipboards and families carrying bags of food for their relatives. It is a very human place. There is no corporate polish here. The walls might need a fresh coat of paint in some spots, and the fans hum constantly during the summer months. We get people from all over, not just the local area, because we have been at this Tis Hazari location for so long. The day starts early here, with the shifts changing and the first round of tea. It is a place of routine and hard work. We don't talk much about missions or visions; we just talk about who needs medicine and which bed is open. Sometimes the elevators are slow, and the waiting rooms are packed, but that is just the nature of a hospital in this part of town. We are a community of workers and patients, all trying to get through the day. It is a tiring job, but it is real, and it is what we know. We are just a fixture of the neighborhood, doing what we can.
