Reemanikalje

This is Reemanikalje, and we are based out of 19/2 Old Rajinder Nagar in New Delhi. We are on the first floor. If you know Delhi, you know Old Rajinder Nagar is always packed with people, especially students and folks working nearby. It is a very busy street and there is always something going on outside. Being on the first floor helps a bit with the noise, but you can still hear the rickshaws and the street vendors yelling throughout the day. The space is not very large, but we have made it work for us over time. It’s an old building, like most of the ones in this part of town. The stairs are a bit narrow and steep, so you have to watch your step when you come up. We don't have any shiny posters or expensive carpets here. It is just a floor with some desks and chairs where we sit and get through the day's tasks. Sometimes the internet acts up because of the old wiring in the area, but we deal with it. Living and working in New Delhi means you get used to the crowd and the dust. We keep a small kettle for tea in the corner because we drink a lot of it while we work. It’s just a plain, honest spot in a crowded city. We have been here long enough that the postman knows us by name.
