Rana Industry

Anand Parbat is an industrial hub. You can find almost anything being manufactured if you wander through the lanes. Our place is on Street Number 4D, which is quite narrow and can be a bit of a struggle for any big delivery trucks. Rana Industry is a relatively small setup, but we stay busy with work every day. We have the workshop at 31-P/2 and it’s usually filled with the sound of machines and the smell of oil. We don't have a proper lobby or a receptionist to greet people. You just walk in and find someone covered in grease. That is usually me or one of the other guys working the machines. We’ve been here long enough that we don't even notice the noise anymore. The street gets quite muddy whenever it rains, and we all complain about it, but the work doesn't stop. We aren't the type to talk about our history or have big meetings about the future. We just focus on whatever is sitting on the workbench today. Sometimes we stay late when a machine breaks down because we really need it running the next morning. It’s a simple way of living. We don't use computers much, mostly just for the basic billing. Most of our business is done through old-fashioned handshakes and phone calls. We just keep our heads down and do our jobs. That is how we have always done things here in Delhi.
