Publication Aastha

Our office for Publication Aastha is tucked away at K-102 in Kirti Nagar. We’re right behind the Bank of Baroda, which is the easiest way to explain where we are if you’re coming from the Delhi G P O area. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main roads, which is actually nice for getting things done. We deal with a lot of papers, books, and printing stuff all day long. There are usually boxes stacked up somewhere and the sound of machines or people talking about layouts. It’s not a very fancy place, just a workspace where we manage the publishing side of things. We’ve been at this address for a while and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. Some days are just filled with checking proofs or moving stock around. We don't really have a big corporate mission or anything like that to talk about. We just show up, do the work that needs to be finished, and go home. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and making sure the words look right on the page. We just focus on getting the publications out on time and keeping the office running as best as we can. It’s a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything during the week. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of the deadlines as they come up. It is what it is.
