About Mehra Offset Press – Industrial Plant & Machines in Central Delhi
The shop is at number 4693 in Ballimaran, which is a very crowded part of Chandni Chowk. If you have been here, you know how narrow the lanes are. We have been running Mehra Offset Press for a long time. The space is filled with the smell of paper and ink, and there is always a humming sound from the machines. We do all sorts of printing work here, from simple bills to those colorful wedding cards people like. It is not a clean place, because paper dust gets on everything, and the floor is usually covered in offcuts. We start early in the morning, getting the rollers ready. Sometimes the ink takes a while to dry when the weather is humid. My cousin helps out, and we have a couple of guys who know how to handle the old offset press better than anyone else. We don’t have a website or anything like that. Most people just walk in or call us because they’ve known us for years. It is a lot of manual work, lifting heavy reams of paper and making sure the alignment is just right. We’ve seen many shops in Chandni Chowk close down or move, but we like it here in Ballimaran. It is noisy and busy, but it is home. We just focus on getting the print jobs finished so people can pick them up on time. It is a simple life of ink and paper.
