Prakesh Machine Tools

Prakesh Machine Tools is based at number 8 in Gali Number 4, over in the Anand Parbat area. This whole neighborhood is basically one big workshop, so we fit right in with the rest of the machinery shops. We spend our days around lathe machines, grinders, and all sorts of metal-cutting equipment. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and oil, which is pretty standard for a machine tool shop. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. If you come by, you’ll likely find us in our overalls working on a specific part or fixing a machine. We handle a lot of local repairs and also make specific tools when someone brings us a design or a sample. It’s a bit of a maze getting to our Gali, but once you’re here, it’s easy to see what we do. We don't use much technology for the business side of things, mostly just a ledger and a phone. The machines we use are old but they are reliable and we know how to fix them ourselves if something goes wrong. It’s a straightforward life. We work the hours that are needed and we don't worry about corporate buzzwords or meetings. Anand Parbat has a certain energy to it, and we've been part of it for a long time. People know us as the place that just gets the tools sorted without making a fuss.
