Petro Index

Over at 7/7A in the Anand Parbat industrial area, you’ll find the Petro Index shop. We deal with various industrial supplies and containers that people in this neighborhood need. The building is a bit older, and the paint is peeling in some spots, but it serves its purpose well enough. We spend most of our time moving things around and making sure we have enough stock on hand. It’s a lot of physical labor, lifting and carrying stuff throughout the day. The industrial area is a busy place, and there are always people shouting or horns honking outside. We keep a small radio playing in the corner to have some music while we work. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a glossy magazine. It’s just a practical workspace where we get things done. We don't have any polished sales pitches or anything like that. People come to us because they know we are here and we usually have what they are looking for. We eat our lunch on some wooden crates in the back when we have a spare moment. The summers are tough because of the heat, but we have a couple of old fans that keep the air moving a little bit. We’ve been here for a while and we plan on staying as long as the work keeps coming in.
