N S Grinding Works

We are located over at M 27/1 in Street No 8 of Anand Parbat. N S Grinding Works is basically a workshop where we handle a lot of metal jobs. It’s a bit of a dusty place because of all the grinding we do, but that’s just part of the job. Most of the time, the machines are running from early morning until we finally close up at night. It is loud inside, so we usually have to shout a bit to hear each other over the noise. We’ve been at this spot for a long time and our neighbors know us well. It is not the kind of place where you will find a reception desk or a waiting room with magazines. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free. We take on all sorts of grinding work, some big pieces and some very small ones. Every day is different depending on what the customers bring in. Sometimes a job takes much longer than we thought it would. We just try to get the work done right so people come back next time. The shop floor is always covered in metal shavings and the smell of oil. We try to sweep up every evening, but it’s a constant battle against the dust. Street No 8 is quite narrow, so getting big deliveries in can be a bit of a headache. We just manage as best as we can with the space we have here.
