N K Automotive is tucked away in Angoori Bagh, specifically at 336/2 Punja Sharif near Kashmere Gate. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets with all the vehicles and people. We’ve been operating from this small space for a long time. It’s mostly about car parts and fixing up what we can. The shop isn't much to look at, just a door and a lot of shelves packed with boxes. We don't have any of those shiny displays you see in the bigger malls. Here, everything is practical. You come in, tell us what’s wrong with your car or what part you’re looking for, and we see if it’s in the back. Sometimes it takes a bit of digging to find the right item. It’s a noisy neighborhood, but we’re used to it. We aren't corporate types with suits and ties. We’re usually covered in a bit of dust or oil by midday. People around Kashmere Gate know us as a place where they can get a straight answer. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most people find us through word of mouth or just by passing by in the market. It’s a basic way to run a business, but it’s how we’ve always done it. We open up the shutters every morning and stay until the work is finished. It’s just us trying to keep things running for our local customers.
