Sonu Automobiles

Sonu Automobiles is on Hari Singh Nalwa Street, 11/1118, in the Karol Bagh area. If you know Abdul Rehman Road, you know how busy it stays with all the different spare parts shops. Our shop is small and the walls are filled with shelves of engine parts, filters, and various car bits. It is usually a little dark inside because we have so much stock packed into the space. There is often some oil on the floor from when we open the new parts. I spend my time looking through old catalogs or trying to find a specific nut or bolt that a customer needs for their car. It is very loud outside with the constant horns and the sound of people working in the street. We have a small wooden bench where customers can sit while they wait for us to find what they need. My hands are usually stained with grease, but that is just part of working with auto parts every day. We do not use a computer, we just write everything down in large ledger books with a blue pen. The shop gets very hot in the summer, but the tea stall nearby brings us drinks throughout the day. We are just selling parts to the local mechanics and the car owners who live nearby. Sometimes someone brings a part back because it is the wrong one, and we just find the right one for them. That is how our days go here.
