V S Automobiles

V S Automobiles is located right on Guru Gobind Singh Marg in the Guru Nanak Auto Market at 275 A. This place is always greasy and smells like engine oil, which is pretty much what you expect from an auto market. We spend our days surrounded by spare parts, tires, and all kinds of tools. It’s a noisy spot with the sound of engines revving and metal clanging against metal all day long. We mostly help people find the right parts for their cars or bikes when something breaks down. It is a lot of looking through old catalogs and checking the shelves in the back. The shop floor is usually covered in some kind of dust or oil, no matter how much we sweep. We’ve got a couple of chairs out front where customers can sit while they wait for us to find what they need. The market is very competitive, but we’ve been here long enough that people know where to find us. We don't have a fancy showroom, just a lot of shelves and a heavy workbench where we check things. Sometimes the rain leaks in a little near the door, but we just put a bucket down and keep working. It’s hard work and your hands are never really clean, but it’s what we do. Every day is different depending on what kind of vehicle rolls up to the curb or what part someone is hunting for. We often share some snacks with the other shopkeepers when there is a lull in the work. It is a tough life but it keeps us busy.
