Mahavir Auto Centre

Mahavir Auto Centre is situated at 1117/12 on Hari Singh Nalwa Street. If you’ve ever walked down this street in Karol Bagh, you know how packed it gets. We are right in the middle of it all. Our shop is full of various car parts and accessories that we’ve collected over the years. The shelves go all the way to the ceiling, and it’s a bit of a maze if you don’t know your way around. We spend a lot of time helping people figure out what exactly is wrong with their vehicle and which part might fix it. We aren't mechanics ourselves, but we’ve seen enough parts to know what’s what. There’s a small fan on the desk that squeaks a bit, but it helps with the heat. We usually have a stack of newspapers on the counter that we read when things get quiet, though that doesn't happen very often. The floor has some oil stains that won't come out, no matter how much we scrub. We don't have any polished sales pitches or anything like that. We just tell people what we have and what it costs. Most of the people who come in are locals who live or work nearby. It’s a straightforward way to spend the day. We open up early, stay late if we have to, and then head home to do it all again tomorrow. It’s just how things go at 1117/12 for us and the crew.
