Being right here at 11 Uf Babar Place in the Bengali Market area of New Delhi is pretty interesting. It’s 110001, so you know it’s the heart of the city. Mafoi Management Consultants Ltd has been set up here for some time now. It’s a busy spot. You’ve got the smell of food from the market nearby, which is always a distraction when you’re trying to focus on consultancy reports or client files. The office isn't huge, but it’s got everything we need to function. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes, with people coming in and out and the phones ringing constantly. We don't have any of those fancy modern office pods or "chill zones." We just have our desks and our work. It gets a bit loud outside during the lunch rush, but we’re used to it. The best part is being so central; everyone knows where Bengali Market is, so it’s easy for folks to find us. We handle a lot of different management tasks, mostly just trying to keep things moving for the companies we work with. It’s not always glamorous. There’s a lot of data entry and checking of details that would bore most people, but it’s what we do. We like the energy of this part of Delhi. It keeps us on our toes and makes the workday go by faster than if we were stuck in some quiet suburb. We just get on with the daily tasks.
